I love Musa.
I remember the first time I met him, 2009 the basement club that is Nothing Hill Arts Club. His then band, Benin City, were doing me the honor of performing at the 2nd nothing to display night. He was so reserved, polite and gentle. I wondered what he would be like on stage; he shone. Then, as now his stage presence and lyrical dexterity are bar none.
Anyway, fast forward a few years and other music and poetry project, Musa is a friend and person whose work I admire.
